We are pleased to announce that education abroad programs have resumed and we are eager to send students abroad again.
Prior to going abroad: Travel Advisory Policy
Students that are traveling to a location that is a Level 3 or higher on the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs will be contacted to submit a petition by their deadline. Please read the Travel Advisory Policy to learn more about the petition process.
While abroad:
While students maybe able to go, students will still need to exercise caution while abroad. We highly encourage our students with US citizenship and nationals to register for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to be notified of any safety conditions in their destination countries, even when they travel outside of their host country. The U.S. Embassy would also be able to contact you in an emergency, whether natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency. In addition those who register can help family and friends get in tough with you in an emergency.
We wish all our students abroad a wonderful time abroad and know that the Education Abroad Office is still here to support you, so email us if you have any questions.
