We appreciate your interests in sharing your time, expertise, and passion for global awareness with our community. All providers with international programs must go through the Education Abroad Office (EAO).

Guidelines for visiting Seattle University to promote programs

Scheduling

Providers may only reserve tables twice per academic year. Reservations are only available between 10am to 1pm. Your organization may be scheduled concurrently with another provider; however, the number of providers per day is limited to two.

Materials

We do not accept materials that are sent ahead of time. Please call us if you have an exceptional request. If you there are materials remaining after your informational session, you can stop by the Education Abroad Office to see if any are needed in our resource library. If not, please be prepared to leave with the items.

Coordination with SU

Visitors must stop by the Education Abroad Office located in James C. Pigott Pavilion for Leadership (PAVL), room 124 (#B1 on the Campus Map) before setting up at a table. We will provide materials necessary for students to apply to SU programs,  which you are asked to distribute along with your own materials. Please return any unused SU materials to the Education Abroad Office.

Location

TABLING: Tables are set up either in the Pigott Atrium Lobby (#38 on the Campus Map) or in the Student Center (#16 on the Campus Map). See Campus Map. The Education Abroad Office will inform you of your exact location.

Set up

Set up may begin no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your reserved time.

Tables

Unless otherwise requested, a 6' table and two chairs will be provided. Tablecloths are not be provided.

Accommodation 

There are many nearby hotels, but the Silver Cloud (on the corner of Broadway and Madison) is closest as it's located across the street from SU.

Parking

Parking is available at 12th and Marion Street (P40 on the Campus Map). If this lot is full, you can park in the Cherry Street garage on James Street (P5). A daily parking pass costs between $10 and $12 and may be purchased using the parking automats in both the Cherry Street garage and the 12th and Marion parking lot. You may unload materials at Pigott and then move your vehicle afterwards if you wish.

Dining

There are cafes in the Pigott lobby and on the 2nd floor of the Student Center where you may purchase food and drinks during your visit to Seattle University. Our campus is surrounded by many additional restaurant and cafe options as well.
