Carly Darcher is the Director of Academic Pathways Advising. She started her academic career at Western Washington University as a first-generation college student. There she earned a BA in Communication. Additionally, she has a MEd in Student Development Administration Seattle University. Carly has worked at SU for over 15 years. Prior to joining Academic Pathways Advising, she was a Senior Academic Advisor in the College of Science and Engineering and an Academic Specialist in the Office of the Registrar and Operations. Carly’s advising is focused on helping students navigate the education system, normalizing the use of campus resources, and empowering students to take ownership of their education. When she's not working, she enjoys reading, gardening, and taking her dogs for walks.

Theari is a first-generation Khmer-American and first-generation college graduate. She completed her undergraduate degree at Western Washington University with a BA in Human Services and a minor in Education and Social Justice. Before becoming an advisor, she was working at a non-profit in her home community of White Center, WA doing community building work that centered youth leadership development and working on amplifying community voice with an anti-racist lens. Now here at Seattle U, she plans to continue the work of supporting young people in their academic journey with persistence and care to move through systemic barriers.

As a first-generation student, she completed her BA in Criminology with a Minor in Sociology and Certificate in Liberal Arts and her post-baccalaureate diploma with a focus on World Literature, which included a study abroad at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Natasha has worked in higher education for over a decade in student affairs, academic advising and student focused work in academic, professional and leadership development. She hopes to guide and empowering students as they make informed decisions through engaging with on-campus resources and services, in addition to involvement in academic and professional opportunities towards a well-rounded university experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and hopes to visit every major league baseball park and hockey arena in North America.

Hi! My name is Juliana Callasan and I use she/her pronouns. I am a third year nursing major from Southern California. I love to try new foods, staying active, learning how to cook, and traveling. I hope to visit Asia one day!

Hi! My name is Nicole Nakagawa, and I use she/her pronouns. I am a second year psychology major from O’ahu, Hawaii. I love Starbucks, being outdoors, playing ultimate frisbee, trying new foods, and hanging out with friends and family. One day I hope I can buy a house in Canada.

Hi, My name is Kaela Hatakenaka and I use she/her pronouns. I am a first-year kinesiology major from the Big Island of Hawai'i. I love being in the ocean and exploring new places. I hope to ride an elephant one day!
