Filing for the upcoming academic year begins on October 1. The state deadline for submission is at the end of June.
When asked to list the schools to which you would like your FAFSA results to be sent, be sure to list SU’s federal school code: 003790 prior to or as part of filing via the web.

We highly encourage students to schedule an appointment with their Financial Aid Counselor (assigned by last name) to better understand their award, loans, and scholarship opportunities. 1-on-1 appointments are available.
Financial assistance is available to finance your college costs.
A FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be filed for EACH YEAR a student wants to be considered for financial aid eligibility. A new FAFSA is available each year on October 1st and asks for financial data from two years ago.
Complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) and find out what you may be eligible for. Priority deadline is February 1st; students who file the WASFA after that date may still be considered based on available funding.
