Registration for classes for the next term typically happens sometime during Week 6-7 of each the current term. Here are some things to keep in mind about registration:

While we hope that you are able to get your first choice classes right at your registration time, that is not always the case. Some classes have waitlists or save seats to make sure that students who need the class more urgently to graduate on time can get in. If a class you wanted is full, review the Closed Class Procedures Table below.

Planning Resources for Degrees | Visit the Planning Resources for Degrees page to review the 2 year (for transfers) and 4 year (for first-time students) educational plans for each major as a template for your own educational plan. Note that it should just be used as a starting point, your own plan will be individualized to you. |
University Core | Visit the University Core page to learn more about the SU Core curriculum. Note that some programs will have their own version of the Core. Review your program evaluation to see your program's Core requirements. |

Transcript | Office of Admissions Hold | Submit your missing final transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions. If you notified SU that you intended to transfer credit in from a previous school but did not end up taking courses, you will need to contact the previous school to confirm that you did not take courses there before your hold can be removed. |
Think About It | DN of Students Think About It | Compete the required Think About It online training. If you do not complete the Think About It training before the deadline, you will need to submit a Hold Removal RequestStudent Health Center. |
