Join us for "The Quiet Center," the Seattle University Choirs annual Lenten Prayer concert. This special presentation of contemplative, reflective music features the Seattle University Chorale and Chamber Singers and student soloists, with oboe, cello and alto saxophone. "The Quiet Center" program includes music by Dr. Joy Sherman (retiring in 2018 after 27 years as Director of Choral / Vocal Music at Seattle University), Dr. Lee Peterson (Assistant Director of Choral Music), Nicky Manlove (2017-2018 Student Conductor and composer), Maria Dougherty Vega (SU choir alumna) and Ms. Cora L. Jackson (local composer and guest artist).
