First performed in 1901, the original script languishes in the longing and boredom of three sister sophisticates. Trapped in small town life, remembering the glory or the past, the play examines the clash between their life now, and what it could be, if only…meanwhile a national revolution is brewing, life as they knew it is completely changed, but here in the hinterlands, it’s easy stay focused on the personal…

Using a brand-new adaptation by the director Ki Gottberg, with added music and song by composer Casey James, we set this play in a post pandemic contemporary world, while staying with the spirit of Checkov, to tell anew the story of these three Sisters.

Three Sisters will also involve guest actor, Rob Burgess playing the supporting role of Chebutykin. Rob Burgess has been seen on the stages of Seattle Repertory Theatre, ACT, Empty Space, Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT), and is also a member of The Seagull Project.
