A 600+ hour clinical internship grounds academic knowledge and reflection in practical experience. Students begin the internship in their third year with an agency or clinic that matches their interests.
In their final year in the program students complete an integration paper or project that draws together reflections on their clinical experiences with a body of theory and research in a topic of their choosing.
Course requirements are maintained by the Office of the Registrar.
Professor Steen Halling, one of the program's founders, discusses the practicum experience in the MAP program.
