Natalie Cisneros is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Women and Gender Studies at Seattle University. Her recent work appears in Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy, Radical Philosophy Review, Active Intolerance: Michel Foucault, The Prison Information Group, and the Future of Abolition (Eds. Perry Zurn and Andrew Dilts), and Philosophy Imprisoned: The Love of Wisdom in the Age of Mass Incarceration (Eds. Sarah Tyson and Joshua M. Hall). Currently, she is completing a book manuscript that draws on the work of Michel Foucault and Gloría Anzaldúa, as well as other feminists and critical race theorists, to suggest a new approach to political and ethical questions surrounding immigration.
