Albers Career Center

Our goal is to assist the students and alumni of the Albers School of Business and Economics to be successful in their career development and job placement activities.

Center for Business Ethics

The Center for Business Ethics at Seattle University inspires business people to build business cultures that respect persons, relationships, communities, and ecosystems.

Center For Leadership Formation

The Center for Leadership Formation (CLF) provides innovative, world-class executive education to mid- to senior-level professionals with an emphasis on leadership, business expertise, and a commitment to social responsibility.

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (IEC)

At the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center we build and nourish the entrepreneurial spirit. Wherever our students choose to pursue their careers, they graduate with tools, skills, and insights to develop their potential. The Center also actively supports initiatives in micro-enterprise, family business, and student consulting services.

Mentor Program

The Albers Mentor Program is a unique opportunity for graduate-level and senior undergraduate business students to interact with upper level executives from leading Puget Sound companies and organizations.

MotMot Coffee

MotMot Coffee is a student-created, student-run coffee brand. It provides the coffee farmers it partners with fair wages, quality medical care, and access to education for their families. Students on the MotMot team gain unparalleled experience in international business and ethical company management, while helping spread the word about sustainable coffee farming practices.

Professional and Continuing Education

Albers offers Continuing Education classes for current students as well as professionals.

RAMP-Up

The Resource Amplification & Management Program (RAMP-Up) provides business coaching, planning, technical support, and other assistance to underserved local businesses in Seattle. Qualified RAMP-Up clients are assigned a Seattle University client account manager and student consulting team for a renewable one-year engagement.

Red Winged Leadership Award

As an elective of the Leadership Formation Graduate Certificate, the Red Winged Leadership Award program teaches students to recognize great leaders of today. They are challenged with the goal of finding and recognizing local leaders who make a significant impact on people, organizations, and the greater community, through the display of leadership, business acumen, and a heightened sense of social responsibility.

Redhawk Fund

Started in 2009 with $250,000 from the university's endowment, the Redhawk Fund provides students with an opportunity to participate in professional portfolio management and equity research, thus preparing them for success in the global community.

Study Abroad

In addition to Seattle University's study abroad opportunities, Albers offers a number of short-term study abroad tours lead by faculty members, and exchange programs.

Summer Business Institute

During the Summer Business Institute in June, college-bound juniors from African-American, Latino, and North American Indian heritage stay in dorms and become acquainted with college coursework through a series of short workshops on accounting, finance, administration, international business, management, marketing, and other areas.

Undergraduate Leadership Development Program

The Albers Undergraduate Leadership Development Program provides students a basic education in leadership skills and professional development, which are important skills to know in both the academic and business worlds.

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Low Income Tax Prep

For the last 40 years, Seattle University accounting students have been providing the local community with a valuable tax preparation service.
