Established in 2011, the Center for Business Ethics partners with business leaders, scholars, faculty, students & alumni to critically examine ethical issues in business & the role business can play in advancing the common good
Since 2013, business leaders from the greater Seattle area have visited dozens of classes during Albers Ethics Week
The Center is home to the Northwest Ethics Network, a forum for ethics and compliance professionals in the Pacific Northwest
Faculty at the Albers School of Business and Economics continue their scholarship in the area of business ethics and corporate responsibility
The role of business is to engage with the community to do good. Communities have ongoing needs and businesses must remain consistent partners, even in years when profits are down. By linking ethics education to core values, Albers equips future business leaders with a moral compass that directs their decisions toward the common good.
