Albers Ethics Week is a unique annual program that hosts dozens of guest speakers from the greater Seattle area business community for an intensive, week-long examination of ethical issues in business. Guests appear in classrooms across the Albers School curriculum, addressing ethical issues in areas such as accounting, finance, data analytics, marketing and human resource management.
In conversation with your faculty partner, try to identify an ethically relevant topic, case study or issue that is well-suited for the particular course to which you’ve been assigned. Over the years we have found that overly general discussions about the importance of ethics, while important, are the messages that the students have heard before at Seattle University. What serves students and faculty well are discussions of ethical issues that are more specific and tailored to the subject area of the course to which you've been assigned.
