Data platform manager for a big data analytics platform @ Microsoft. Driving vision, strategy, and customer insight to define and deliver solutions. Making sure that Data Engineers can productively develop apps that provide users with a great, consistent experience. Ensuring Data Scientist and Analytics can perform their roles efficiently. We are developing the engine that gathers, stores, processes and powers the security data, create and maintain tools to analyze line of business applications for security vulnerabilities. Security Intelligence Platform Team actively works with Data Intelligence, who analyzing and disseminating intelligence products and capabilities for Security Domain; with Security Tools Team, who build run-time protection tools to prevent or detect security vulnerabilities; supporting Identity Management, Security Assessment, User Access, Threat Intelligence analysis, Insider Threat Program, Global Workplace Services and Security, and other areas requested by the business customers.

My objective is to help students identify what their passions are and how to find ways to pursue those passions in a professional setting. I like to work 1:1 with students AND also in a group setting to share ideas. I am here to help answer questions, review resumes, conduct mock interviews, and bounce ideas on how to start or grow in your professional career!
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
A mixture of in-person and virtual. Most weekday afternoons are available. I work primarily out of Redmond but can meet on SU campus or on the east side for in-person sessions. Virtual sessions also available as needed.
Additional Information
I know how difficult it can be to navigate career waters, especially if you are unsure of your path and/or not sure where to seek help. For my own experience, I am jack of all trades and have carved a career out of this "generalist" persona where I'm never bored, and always looking to solve the big problems!
