The Early Career MBA is a one year, full-time, accelerated, cohort program designed specifically for young professionals who are in the early stages of their careers and who come from a variety of undergraduate backgrounds. Although some MBA programs will admit early career students, only a handful of programs are actually designed to support early career professionals or students looking to change the trajectory of their careers. The Early Career MBA through Seattle University's esteemed Albers School of Business and Economics provides you with the strong academic foundation of an MBA but also hands-on experiences and carefully crafted career guidance to help you propel your career forward.
Our Early Career MBA graduates have successfully combined the knowledge gained from their undergraduate degrees with the solid business skills they learned in this program. Employers value the well-rounded experience and insights these graduates bring to the table, making them optimal candidates for future leadership positions. Aspiring entrepreneurs who are well versed in the creative side also appreciate the program for teaching them how to successfully develop a business plan and run a business. With an Early Career MBA from Seattle University, you will gain business acumen and skills to fast-track your career journey, while building a foundation of knowledge that will serve you for a lifetime.
Seattle University's Bridge (Early Career) MBA program has been a great way to further my education and develop a foundation in business. This program has made an enriched impact in conjunction with my degree in Communication Studies, and the course work has given me the knowledge and skills I was yearning to develop.
Caroline Engs, '17, Bridge (Early Career) MBAI thought getting an MBA would go well with my undergraduate degree, which was public relations. The Bridge (Early Career) MBA allowed me to go to graduate school immediately. The program was a perfect fit and met all my expectations. They don't set you up for failure here. If you do the work, it's definitely doable.
Sam Chanen, '18, Bridge (Early Career) MBAThe Bridge (Early Career) MBA program helped me build networks in the US. As an international student with a non-business degree, I don't really have connections to get me around the business realm. With the required networking events, I am provided with connections to easily navigate around this field.
Janika Faye Le Penia, '17, Bridge (Early Career) MBAGoing through the Bridge (Early Career) MBA program was remarkably different from my undergraduate experience as a philosophy major. It was absolutely worth it to go straight back to school. I'm really excited to be able to use the learning.
Tom Sweeney, '18, Bridge (Early Career) MBAThe program made me realize there's a lot more I could do. I never imagined I would do any of this. I don't know where I would be without the Bridge (Early Career) MBA. I can't imagine my life without it . I'm glad it's over, but I'm very happy I did it!
Demetra Annest, '18, Bridge (Early Career) MBAAfter earning my undergraduate at SU, I chose to continue my education with the Bridge (Early Career) MBA program because I was excited about the opportunity to learn the language of business while further developing my leadership skills to better both my industry and the community.

I chose the Bridge (Early Career) MBA because as an undergraduate alumni of Seattle University, I wanted to continue learning in an atmosphere surrounded by leaders who employ the Seattle University mission statement: “[leaders]…dedicated to educating the whole person, to professional formation…for a just and humane world". This program was a perfect business fit to complement my undergraduate background in hard sciences!
