Personal Bio
Aaron M. Thornburg is a lawyer, professor, real estate broker and investor, business owner, board member, 501c3 founder, and unpaid intern at his wife’s Seattle-based company, Skinny Dipped. Aaron has been with Seattle U for over a decade, in various faculty and administrative roles, teaching at both the Albers School of Business and Economics and the College of Education. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona, co-owns a company in Michigan, splits time between Tofino, BC, Washington, and New Mexico, teaches at Seattle U and Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala City, and has worked and taught as a visiting professor at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, the Banking Academy of Vietnam and University of Chiang Mai in Thailand. Aaron is multi-lingual and has lived and worked professionally on four separate continents, with special interest in Latin America. He helped found, and currently serves as President of On The Ground Impact (OTG Impact), a not-for-profit that amplifies the impact of grassroots organizations that lead the way towards local solutions to poverty, social inequality and climate change.
