Personal Bio
Rebecca comes to us with a rich and varied background. She has 15 years of experience in the field of Human Resources where she worked at a variety of Seattle companies, including Starbucks Coffee Company. (and yes, she LOVES coffee!) In 2008, she made a career change into Residential Real Estate with Coldwell Banker Bain where she spent over 13 years working with buyers and sellers in the greater Seattle area. In 2022, she made another (and hopefully final!) career change into the Higher Education field where she can put her extensive advising/coaching experience in the service of students. Rebecca is excited to leverage her successful career history in a variety of work settings, industries, and fields to assist our Albers business students in finding their ideal career upon graduation. She is a first-generation, low-income college student and is passionate about access and equity issues in Higher Education. She is a long-time resident of Seattle and is married with two college-aged children. When she’s not coaching or advising students, she enjoys hiking, walks along Alki Beach with her German Short-haired Pointer, Dakota, international travel, interior design and attending flea markets.
