TalkNow is an on-demand 24/7 mental health resource offered by TimelyCare, to talk about anything at any time. Students must register through the TimelyCare app or website, and can expect to spend 3-5 minutes registering before utilizing the service for the first time. Once connected, students can expect to speak with a professional within 3-7 minutes. The TalkNow service is available in all 50 states and internationally to SU students.
TalkNow professionals will help students with a range of topics including feeling down, stress & anxiety, relationship concerns, and suicidal thoughts, among other concerns.

Seattle University has partnered with TimelyCare to offer students 24/7 access to virtual medical and mental health services, in all 50 states. Students can schedule up to 12 counseling visits a year with a licensed mental health professional at a time that works for you, including nights and weekends. Learn more about TimelyCare here.
The Consultation, Assistance, Referral, and Education Team (CARE Team) is comprised of university staff who meet on a weekly basis to respond to concerning situations. They assess referrals from the campus community, facilitate communication, and initiate appropriate responses to specific behavioral concerns or short-term circumstances that may involve threats to the safety and security of the University community.
