Work-Study is a federally-supported program administered by Student Financial Services at Seattle University. This form of financial aid provides students with the opportunity to be paid as they engage in community-focused work, including working with youth in grades pre-k through 12. JumpStart:
Jumpstart Corps are work-study positions working with preschool aged youth. Learn more about JumpStart and the application process here.
SUYI K-12 Partner School Positions:
Academic Mentoring Corps serve all grade levels, with opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and academic support during the school day and after school. Members are placed at Bailey Gatzert Elementary, Washington Middle School, and Garfield High School. Work study is accepted but not required for Academic Mentors, Change Maker Mentors, and afterschool tutoring positions. All K-12 Student Employment positions are part-time from 6 (minimum) up to 15 hours per week depending upon school site.
