Araujo combines ceramics and printmaking media, a complex art alliance since they are among the most demanding craft-oriented media. Araujo intends to create meaningful work on multiple layers to discuss life's complexity and contemporary spirituality.
Araujo's work is a visual meditation seeking reconciliation and identity, a fundamental aspect of his spirituality as a Jesuit Catholic priest and artist. His work has been shown in Colombia, the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Italy. Currently, he is the superior of the Jesuits at Seattle University.
