Aditi Somani (she/her) is a graduate student at Seattle University working toward a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). She received her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Costing from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune, India. She is passionate about making data driven decisions to scale up business revenue by solving complex business problems using data analytics, statistical machine learning techniques, data visualization tools and other quantitative methods leveraging technology.
Currently she is also involved in graduate student council doing multiple projects to ease grad school experience for grad students. Previously, she has worked with Barclays in investment banking for about 1 and a half year in India.
Aditi identifies herself as spiritual, as she comes from a Hindu Maheshwari background. Aside from that, Aditi has won multiple spiritual Bhagavat Gita and other Hindu religious literature reciting competitions during her childhood as a part of school’s extracurricular activities. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, dancing, cooking, and is always curious to learn about different cultures and traditions.
