Mars is an Innovation Program Manager with over 25 years of Technical Program Management and Software Engineering experience shepherding organizations through the innovation process of ideation, R&D, prototyping, and production. He is experienced in program and project management: a Certified ScrumMaster and passionate proponent of Lean/Agile methodologies. Additionally, he is a strong advocate of future work and responsive organization movements through the active promotion of enterprise social networking, open flow of information and working out loud, bridging silos, encouraging experimentation, and learning on rapid cycles. Mars has a Masters in Transformational Leadership from Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry (2015) after initially pursuing the Masters in Pastoral Studies. A cradle Catholic born in Indonesia and having grown up in Singapore, Mars’ spirituality has been influenced by the Redemptorists, Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and later the Jesuits at SU and Dominicans at the UW Catholic Newman Center where he led the Sundays At Seven Music Ministry for sixteen years. Mars’ experience at STM has opened the eyes of his heart beyond religious boundaries and has since been exploring a bigger tent of spirituality.
