This Winter Workshop arrived at a time as we sought lives of depth and intentional living. Our facilitator – Carla Orlando, M.Ed – invited a team of leaders to accompany her in this workshop series.

The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement (CEIE) Workshops take place under a main theme that unfurls in a series of three offerings for each theme, or a 1:3 model of theme-to-series. The workshop theme evolves within each of the three series, so that learning is enriched as learnings are applied. Workshops include a Curator, who leads and organizes the workshop experience. The Curator will often enlist the moderating expertise of additional leaders to enhance the student-experience for one or more of the series offered. In an academic year, CEIE will often offer two workshop experiences.
CEIE Workshops are based on ecumenical and interreligious principles, and the public theological engagement promoted by Pope Francis: “All of us know that when we, as individuals and communities, learn to look beyond ourselves and our particular interests, then understanding and mutual commitment bear fruit … [we] can attain a multifaceted unity that gives rise to new life.” (Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (24 November 2013).
