By the end of this course you should: understand the ecological and environmental characteristics that affect agricultural production, have an appreciation of the ecological, social, economic, and political complexities associated with developing sustainable food systems, improve your ability to critically examine and discuss agroecological literature, and be able to answer a research question related to food systems/agriculture using existing published papers.
