University Events is operated by 9 full-time staff members and supported by over 30 student workers.
University Events is committed to providing seamless, quality event management and support to ensure that conferences, events and meetings are successful and memorable on the Seattle University campus.
CES offers year-round employment and is supported by over 30 student workers. Students staff our front desk at the 1313 Columbia Building, assist with event coordination, set up campus event spaces, and help operate the residence halls for our summer conference guests.

Conference and Event Services is also supported by Event Production Crew ("Crew"), a team of students that sets up campus event spaces and classrooms for a wide range of events. Crew members also act as liaisons to clientele to provide customer service and resolve problems with accuracy and efficiency.
During the summer months, we have numerous SU students take on the role of Conference Assistants, who staff the front desks of our residence halls for our incoming conferences and guests, including our new incoming students and parents for our Orientation sessions. CA's help with check-in's and check-out's, maintain guest records and accounts, and provide excellent customer service to all of our guests staying on campus.
