Beginning July 1, 2023, Seattle University will no longer require students, faculty and staff to provide documentation of their COVID-19 vaccinations. However, from July 1 on, the university strongly encourages all members of the campus community to stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines, and therefore get vaccinated against COVID-19 and receive any recommended booster dose(s) when eligible to do so. Visit CDC for more information.
Throughout the COVID pandemic, Seattle University has followed public health guidance. The coming change in SU’s vaccination policy aligns with current local, state and federal guidelines as well as recent decisions by other colleges and universities to discontinue their vaccination requirements.
Seattle University will continue to monitor public health guidance and make any adjustments that might be needed to our COVID protocols. For the latest updates, please visit COVID Response.
