Coinciding with the first day of classes, the Safe Start Welcome Center will launch on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
A health and safety resource for campus community members and visitors, the center will be located in the lobby of Engineering (east side of the building). At the center, students, faculty and staff will be able to do their daily screenings if they are unable to do so online from their phone or home. Visitors will need to check in at the center to complete a screening and temperature check. A limited supply of face coverings will also be available for visitors and campus community members in need of one.
The Safe Start Welcome Center will be staffed during university business hours. (The center will not be open after hours.)
