To ensure the provision of reasonable and appropriate accommodation and services, the student must have a documented disability as defined by state and federal regulations. The student must provide professional documentation, which meets the criteria, set forth in Requirements for Documentation of Disabilities. Documentation should be submitted on official letterhead including a signature by the provider.
Documentation may be faxed to Disability Services at (206) 296-5747, hand-delivered to Disability Services (Loyola 100), emailed to DS@seattleu.edu, or mailed to:

Students who received accommodations in high school or at another college should bring current documentation to be reviewed by staff.
Students are encouraged to discuss the possibility of an undiagnosed disability with one of the Directors of Disability Services and find out how to obtain a professional assessment. Disability Services has compiled a brief list of suggested testing or screening locations.
