All of the graduate courses in the ENES program are delivered entirely online. These courses, however, are not your typical (or stereotypical) online classes. Each class is grounded in the principle that learning best happens when people are in close relationships with the content and with each other. Therefore, each course is highly interactive. You will be working with myself and your classmates in small groups, partners, and as a whole class. The activities and assignments in each class are very much embedded in your work with culturally and linguistically diverse students in classrooms. For example, in each class you will be analyzing teaching video examples and trying out instructional strategies and holding small group video professional learning communities (PLCs) to examine your own practice. We will be using the technology of the course for all of this.
