Seattle University has been addressing and responding to the changing circumstances since the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic both globally and in our region. We know you have questions so we have compiled relevant admissions and enrollment information. Please continue to monitor this page for additional updates in the coming weeks and months.
The GRE and GMAT testing requirements are now considered optional for anyone applying to a non-law graduate program. Two exceptions remain in place. A test will still be required if you have a bachelor's degree from a non-graded institution or you have earned the equivalent of a 3-year bachelor's degree overseas.
Choosing to include a GMAT or GRE score may make your application more competitive in some situations. Prospective students are invited to contact Graduate Admissions anytime at grad-admissions@seattleu.edu or 206-220-8010 to discuss this test-optional policy.
Testing agencies have worked to provide alternatives to site-based tests. The latest information is noted below and we will update as we learn more.
Do not hesitate to contact our Student Financial Services Office today at 206-220-8020 or financialservices@seattleu.edu with any financial aid questions. Information regarding your financial aid award will be communicated through your Seattle University email account.
You will receive an invitation to participate in a University orientation for Summer Quarter 2023. Contact your program for more information about department orientations and advising.
Some U.S. Consulate/Embassies are now allowing F-1 visa applications without an in-person appointment. Contact our International Student Center for the latest information.
