Seattle University warmly welcomes all who have served or are currently serving our country. We also welcome the spouses and dependents of service members.
Seattle University recognizes that military members and dependents have special needs and concerns, and strives to provide community support and resources to these individuals.
Resources available on campus for veterans and dependents include:
Outreach Link: Community space dedicated to creating a sense of community and belonging for our veteran and military connected community as well as out first-generation college student community. We provide programs and events in the Outreach Link to support students and ease the transition from military to civilian life.
"I Served" Campaign: Initiative designed to bring visibility to staff, faculty, and students who identify as veterans
The Seattle U Veterans Community is committed to serving the veteran student population by providing many valuable resources for community-building, along with student support and engagement.
The Veterans Guidebook, written by our military community for veterans, is a great resource for anyone looking for answers or advice on student veteran life at SU.
Additionally, staff members are available to offer support. The Americorps Veterans Navigator and the Graduate Assistant for Outreach are available as resources to students in the veterans community.
