Rashmi Chordiya is an assistant professor of public administration in the Institute of Public Service at Seattle University. Her research focuses on advancing management outcomes in government organizations operating in cross-national contexts and from the lens of organizational justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, yielding publications in several, prestigious journals.
Her research is published is Administrative Theory and Praxis, Review of Public Personnel Administration, The American Review of Public Administration, The Journal of Public Affairs Education, Public Management Review, and Public Administration. She is currently working on a book project entitled “Managing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Public and Nonprofit Sector Contexts”. In past, she has worked in India on the implementation of two major federal policies- the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and the Higher Education Reform Policy. Her teaching interests span public and human resources management, organizational theory and behavior, justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
