She took the Collegiate Club National Title in the Individual Time Trial and the National Title in the women's Criterium. She also placed second in the Road Race. As a result, she won the overall individual women's Collegiate Club Omnium title. In the team competition, because of her cumulative points for the weekend, she earned Seattle U Cycling second place in the Collegiate Club D2 Team Overall (D2= small school classification.) That was up against teams with, well, more than one person representing their school at Nationals. This competition marks Heidi’s last collegiate cycling event. Following graduation, she will become a professional competitor. Heidi’s cycling is the theme of her exhibition in the BFA Photography Exhibition, running through June 9 in the Vachon Gallery. “In "Moving", Heidi shares her life spent on a bicycle, navigating her surroundings and existence in chaotic, peaceful, and sensual ways. Time, space, movement, and experience is captured at speed on 35mm film, unfiltered and spontaneous. Navigation becomes a conversation between her eyes and the world.” Cycling photo courtesy of Casey Gibson (USACycling)
