Please help those in need by participating in SU's virtual drive from October 4 to 17.Bloodworks Northwest, a longtime partner of Seattle University, has been holding blood drives on campus for years. In light of COVID-19, the mobile truck will not be visiting campus during the fall term. At the same time, the need for donations during the pandemic is as critical as ever. That’s why Seattle University is stepping up to sponsor a two-week virtual drive. Please visit ANY Bloodworks Northwest donor center or pop-up center and help Seattle University reach a goal of finding 50 people to donate blood between Sunday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 17. Seattle University’s positive impact can be tracked when you give the registrar (person checking you in at donor center or pop up center) the code: SEAU. Due to social distancing, blood donation is by appointment only. Please use this link to find a convenient donor center or pop-up center near you and book an appointment. Masks or face coverings are required. Rest assured, giving blood during the pandemic is not only an essential but a safe action. Learn more about how Blookdworks Northwest is keeping donors and staff safe and abiding by all CDC, FDA and WA State Department of Health guidelines. Please schedule an appointment to give blood. Every donation makes our community stronger. Together, we are bound by blood! Click here for SU Virtual Blood Drive flyer.
