Biology team secures additional funding

Biology faculty members Michael Zanis, Carolyn Stenbak and Lindsay Whitlow were recently awarded supplemental funding from the National Science Foundation for their project “Exploring Phylogenetic Diversification of Phycodnaviruses Across Aquatic Ecosystems in the Puget Sound Region.” With this additional funding, two post-baccalaureate students will be able to join their team and add valuable research experience to their resumes as these experiences were curtailed or missing due to the pandemic.
