College of Education Hosting Best-Selling Author, Dr. Gholdy Muhammad

Seattle University College of Education is hosting two events with Dr. Gholdy Muhammad, one of the most influential university-based scholars in America and best-selling author of Cultivating Genuis: An Equity Framework for Culturally and Historically Responsive Literacy and her latest, Unearthing Joy: A Guide to Culturally and Historically Responsive Teaching and Learning. The events, Friday, February 24, and Tuesday, March 7 at Pigott Auditorium, are free and open to the public. 

Dr. Muhammad’s historically and culturally responsive education model has been adopted by school districts nationwide.
