Jot Yau awarded research grant

Jot Yau, Dr. Khalil Dibee Endowed Chair in Finance, has been awarded a 2011 research grant by the Institute for Financial Markets, on his proposal titled “The Impact of Transaction Tax on the Market Quality of US Futures Markets: An Ex-Ante Analysis” (co-investigated with George Wang of George Mason University and Johan Bjursell of Ronin Capital, LLC). The award was selected by the Advisory Committee of the Clearing Corporation Foundation Endowed Fund, which is comprised of industry professionals in the derivatives business.
