Seattle University’s world-class College of Nursing offers an exceptional program in Washington State to advance the careers of working professionals with previous experience and those with a strong passion for intensive care work.
You will form lifelong and supportive bonds with your cohort on a path to your AG-ACNP in this purpose-built program designed to prepare you for advanced practice in acute care environments including inpatient, emergency and critical care units. With 90 hours of clinical per quarter, in hands-on and realistic scenarios, you will practice procedures to gain the confidence and critical muscle memory necessary to save lives and make valuable contributions in urban centers as well as resource-limited rural communities.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Association of Critical Care Nurses (ACCN) offer the AG-ACNP certification exam. Graduates of the DNP or Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care are eligible to sit for both examinations.
Learn more about the DNP program for RNs and Non-Nurse applicants at an upcoming online information session.
