Areas of Interest

Dr. Lin’s research and scholarship focuses on burn prevention and symptom management in burn survivors and family caregivers through a trauma-informed lens. She has been working with families of young children with burn injury and is interested in the biological and behavioral dynamics of symptoms (e.g., pain, itch, and sleep disturbance) that can shape the trajectory of long-term psychological, behavioral and functional outcomes in children.
