Redhawk Launch is a two-day experience for you and your family to join us on campus in July to learn about essential campus resources and find your flock of new friends. We strongly encourage you to attend Redhawk Launch so you can be prepared to start classes in the Fall. However, participation is not a required part of Orientation.
Redhawk Launch takes place on the following dates in July:
For all sessions, Check-In on Day 1 starts at 1:00pm and the Closing Session on Day 2 ends at 2:00pm (followed by an optional Campus Resource Fair). Please do not finalize travel plans to attend a Redhawk Launch session before you receive confirmation of your RSVP, as space for each session is limited.
We recognize not all students and families can travel to campus in July. A one-day Redhawk Launch will be held on Friday, September 20. Sign-up priorities for this session are given to international students, students and families traveling from Hawai’i, and our far-flying Redhawks from out-of-state.
There are no additional fees to change which Session you plan to attend. If you have already signed up for Redhawk Launch and would like to change which Session you plan to attend, please follow these steps:
GUESTS
There is an $85 fee for each guest who attends Redhawk Launch, which covers meals and program supplies. Overnight housing is not provided for Guests. Guest fees can be paid with a debit or credit card. The guest fee must be paid at the time of signing up. Only students can log into their Orientation Portal to access and complete the RSVP form for Redhawk Launch. We strongly encourage students and any guests to complete their RSVP form together so you may coordinate dates and travel plans.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
After you submit your RSVP, you will receive a confirmation email that you have a spot at the session you signed up for. You and your guests will also receive a confirmation email if you sign up any guests. Two weeks before your session, we will send you a reminder email that includes a packing list and instructions for parking and arrival to campus.
