Summer Orientation 2024

Summer Orientation Header

Summer Orientation is a hybrid experience that includes online tasks, virtual workshops, and in-person events on campus. We’ll send you weekly emails with updates and reminders to let you know when new tasks become available and when event sign-ups go live. Below you will find the following:

  • Summer Orientation Dates Calendar
  • Virtual Events Schedule

Virtual Events

The virtual Orientation events schedule includes the following opportunities to connect with fellow Redhawks and learn about campus resources:

  • Flock Talks: Join these virtual meetups to connect with fellow new Redhawks while chatting with an Orientation Leader about topics related to your transition to college life.
  • Campus Resource Workshops: Throughout the summer, you can participate in workshops where you’ll meet with university leaders to learn about academic, financial, and support resources.
  • Student Club Socials: In August and early September, meet current Redhawks to learn about clubs and organizations you can join on campus.

How do I sign up for virtual Orientation events? Students can sign up for virtual events in their Orientation Portal. You can also review the list of events below and click on an event to visit your Orientation Portal and sign up.

Who can attend virtual Orientation events? Flock Talks and Student Club Socials are only for new students. Campus Resource Workshops are for new students and their parents, families, and supporters. When students sign up for Campus Partner Sessions, they can submit contact information to invite a guest to join. Sessions specifically for parents, families, and supporters are listed on our Family and Supporters page.
