Stephen Sundborg, S.J., retired in June 2021 after 24 years as Seattle U’s president. SU’s longest serving president, Father Steve—as he is fondly known—led the university through many of its most pivotal and defining moments of transformation and innovation.
President Eduardo Peñalver is one of 100 university leaders nationwide to participate in the summit, presented by the U.S. Department of Education.
