Service of Remembrance

February 25, 2021

Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Friends of Seattle University,

Over this last year we have individually and collectively experienced tremendous grief and loss during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In times of tragedy, Seattle University gathers as a community to pause for reflection, prayer and sharing. We are a university rooted in care and faith and we lift up the voices of our diverse religious, secular and spiritual traditions to help express our lament and offer a horizon of comfort and hope.

In this virtual gathering, we will share prayers, stories, music, and reflections from many voices across campus. Please join us as together we hold the many losses this last year has brought our community. We also invite you to participate by sharing names, photos, and memories of those who have died on our In Remembrance Page.

Join us on Tuesday, March 2 at 12:30 p.m.
