Fall 2012 will mark PWOB’s second year of involvement with local non-profit L’Arche Noah Sealth of Seattle, just one part of the international federation of L’Arche communities in which people with disabilities are able to live and work with volunteers and employees. In 2011, PWOB co-founders Mike Mullen, Cal Ihler, and Steve Szablya led the Seattle University Grounds Department in the renovation of two of L’arche’s housing communities, the Noah House and the Shuinota House.
This year the same team will continue their work, updating electrical systems in several of L’Arche’s houses and making the electrical and plumbing systems more effective and safe.
