Course Descriptions

The MS in Structural Engineering's schedule is designed to accommodate working professionals. Course are held either 2 or 3 times per week in the mornings. Course times in this program are dependent on the academic year:

  • For academic years that start on EVEN numbers (for example, 2020), all courses are held Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 7:45am-10:45am
  • For academic years that start on ODD numbers (for example 2021), all courses are held Tuesday-Thursday from 8am-12:20pm

  • CEEGR 5230 – Advanced Steel Design: Winter of odd calendar years M,W,F
  • CEEGR 5260 – Masonry Design: Winter of even calendar years T,Th
  • CEEGR 5220 – Prestressed Concrete Design: Spring of odd calendar years M,W,F
  • CEEGR 5250 – Seismic Design of Structures: Spring odd calendar years M,W,F
  • MEGR 5050 – Finite Element Analysis: Spring of even calendar years T,Th
