Teaching and Research Interests

Ann enjoys teaching the organic chemistry sequence that begins in the winter, in addition to general chemistry, analytical chemistry and nursing chemistry courses. 

Biography

Ann graduated from Seattle University with bachelor's degrees in chemistry and the humanities and then earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Minnesota.  She worked on drinking water and stormwater quality for the City of Seattle before returning to Seattle University as an adjunct and then instructor in the chemistry department. She and her husband (also an SU alumni) have two kids and she is the long-time summer program director of the Girl Scout canoe base in Ely, MN.
