Biography
Dr. Wacher has a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of British Columbia and a D.Phil. in Numerical Analysis from the University of Oxford. She has been on faculty at Seattle University since Fall 2022. Abigail Wacher has worked as a numerical analyst researcher, with an interest in multidisciplinary research and applications. In addition to specializing in numerical methods for solving differential equations from a purely numerical analysis standpoint, she is also interested in applications in many fields including wave energy, biology, physics, chemistry, and engineering.
