The purpose of this website is twofold. For current SU faculty, it provides a useful resource to see what sort of demonstrations are available to them for use in lecture or lab. For students, this gives a little explanation into some interesting physics concepts and how they can be seen in real life (as opposed to simply read about in a textbook). If any of the demonstrations you find in these pages pique your interest, feel free to stop by the lab manager's room (BANN 134) to see the demonstration performed live and have a more in-depth discussion about it. Alternatively, you may email me to set up a time to come by (email provided further down this page).
Please report any comments, questions, ideas, or better jokes to the lab manager Dr. Chris Varney.
