“Seeing what happens behind the scenes in research has really deepened my appreciation of the quote ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’ and the global project that is academia.”
“I loved working with my faculty mentor. They gave great guidance and direction. This is one of the best ways to learn, from someone who has been in the field and has experience.”
“My current career and educational pursuits are a complete turnaround from my original goals because of summer research. This experience cultivated me to become adept in various lab techniques, but also as a mentor and collaborator.”
