All on-campus jobs are posted to Handshake, the university’s job board for students and alumni, under the Employer: Seattle University On-Campus Employment – we recommend that you “follow” this employer. You can also use the filter “on-campus” to search for on-campus jobs.
For most job applications, you’ll need a resume and cover letter.
If you need help navigating the job search or Handshake, putting together your resume or cover letter, or want to practice interviewing, schedule a career coaching appointment with the Career Engagement Office.
Jobs are offered year-round, as the needs of employers across campus are different. We encourage you to keep checking Handshake because new jobs are posted almost every day! The heaviest hiring periods are late summer through mid-fall and spring.
Sorry you’re having trouble! We recommend meeting with a Career Coach to review your resume and application materials to make sure you’re putting your best foot forward in your application. Tailored resumes and cover letters get noticed the most, and crafting those takes time and practice. Keep in mind that job searches take time and that more jobs will continue to be posted – you may not have found “the one” yet.
