Mechanical Sorting Robot Showcase by Integrated Design Projects

Thirteen student teams will present and test their unique mechanical sorting robots, which can sort 12 golf and 12 ping-pong balls in up to 2 minutes. These teams are mostly made up of first and second-year students under the supervision of third-year mechanical engineering students. The robots were designed and built during the spring quarter in the Integrated Design Project courses under the supervision of faculty and industry volunteers. Come and marvel at the ingenuity of these teams.
